The LZCK-55 split core current transformer applies to the outdoor electric power system with frequency 50Hz or 60Hz, its ingress protection is IP68. This type of current transformer employs imported silicon steel which with high permeability as magnetic material, has the characteristics of Small magnetic circuit loss and
can be split, its semicircular core and secondary windings employ high quality epoxy resin vacuum, casting in plastic-case(ABS or PC) which is high accuracy, fire-proof, ultraviolet-proof and explosion-proof, maintenance-free, stable and reliable performance, easy installation, etc.
Split Core Current Transformers (CTs) are designed for applications where it is difficult or uneconomical to open the primary conductor to install a solid-core-type current transformer. The split-core design uses silicon steel or polysilicon steel alloy formed into a ring type, hexagonal or rectangular shape.
